Importância do instrumentador cirúrgico na visão da equipe de cirurgia plástica

Abstract
O estudo descrito neste artigo tem a função de descrever qual a importância do instrumentador cirúrgico (IC) para o cirurgião e demais profissionais envolvidos no ato cirúrgico, quais as qualidades mais importantes na visão do cirurgião e como a atuação do IC aumenta a segurança do paciente e de toda a equipe médica. Foram ouvidos 98 profissionais, dentre eles 65 são médicos cirurgiões plásticos e 33 são médicos anestesiologistas. Por meio deste estudo chegamos à conclusão de que 95,92% dos entrevistados priorizam a presença do IC em seus procedimentos. O conhecimento das técnicas assépticas e habilidade do manuseio dos materiais, foram as qualidades mais citadas pelos profissionais, além da organização e pontualidade, apontados como as qualidades imprescindíveis pelos entrevistados.
