A eficacia do ultrassom microfocado no envelhecimento cutâneo
Main Article Content
Abstract
Understanding the structural changes that occur during aging is quite complex, but we can make it easier by basing skin aging on four main pillars, such as skin flaccidity, depressant muscle action, volumetric decrease in fat compartments and loss of deep skin support due to to bone remodeling, but today with modernity at our fingertips, we have access to technology, which is increasingly up-to-date, a clear example of this and a great ally for the treatment of skin aging, capable of promoting the lifting effect without surgery is ultrasound microfocused, technology that uses temperature elevation, capable of inducing stimuli in the production of new collagen, clinically proven tissue elevation, SMAS contraction, denaturation of collagen fibers and facial rearchitecture. This is a retrospective literature review. For data collection, the period from 2012 to 2023 was limited to the Portuguese/English language. According to the results, the authors agree that microfocused ultrasound compared to Radio Frequency and Laser therapy is the only one that reaches the deepest layer of the papillary, reticular and even SMAS dermis, acting mainly on collagens 1 and 3.Study carried out in 2013, where they show that microfocused ultrasound was recently introduced and presented with a new energy modality for transcutaneous heat delivery reaching the deeper subdermal connective tissue in strongly focused zones at programmed and more consistent depths. Microfocused ultrasound promotes a non-surgical, effective and well-tolerated Lifting effect with negligible side effects compared to other techniques, safe, advanced technology with remarkable results in skin rejuvenation, sagging, tissue and muscle tone and wrinkle reduction.
